Onyx 101

Doctor Onyx (real name Arashim) does not know when he comes from, but he knows he is from Earth. However, he remembers a time when the whole planet was dominated by 13 nations/groups/etc. that came under one umbrella. Each 1,000 years a different group would be the lead, and they would rotate with 12 in council, one in command. They measured time through the precession of the equinoxes, with a 13,000 “light” and 13,000 “dark” period. 

The last nation to rule after the first 13,000 light-years believed that they were the only ones who could lead properly through the next 13,000 years. And so they proposed ruling for the duration. This was done out of fear and impatience, not greed or lust for power …..at first. And the other 12 rejected the idea. This is what turned into the group in control today who manifest themselves as “Rome”.

In order to do so, they spent their 1,000 years building defensively to be able to last through the 13000 dark period, while the other 12 groups decided that the universe must take its course. Thus, when their time was up, it was easy for them to retain power. They fell upon the other 12 groups like a tidal wave, being armed and equipped while the other groups were not (the flood), and reduced their populations until all of the other 12 groups had a corresponding size to their own group (1/12th the population each).

What they did not account for was that the universe heals and replenishes itself, and we can not stop this. So while they have been able to retain power for a prolonged period of time, through the entire dark period, they discovered that the other group’s populations started growing faster than theirs. With the global population skyrocketing like it is now in real life, and them quickly finding themselves in the minority/balance of being 1/13th again. But they’ve been in control so long, the other 12 groups do not know their places, their rights, and their purposes.

However, the universe being what it is, the 12 retained their expertise and backgrounds in their stories, their founding myths. The knowledge of their ancestors comes to the surface naturally without them even knowing it, and the group in control is seeing what they lack reflected back toward themselves in the lives of those they try to continue subjugating (think…the disregard for and then re-emergence of herbal medicines today).

This is where we find our story, and what Doctor Onyx does not understand is why he is when he is. All he knows is that he’s here. The harsh truth that he faces through the story is that while he was not the one who gave the decision for the 13th tribe to take over, he was the one who presented the choice to the leader at the time as an option. He was chief strategist to the leader, but the leader (he who is not named) in his fear also made the decision to put Doctor Onyx to sleep for 13,000 years to reemerge when the dark time was over. However, he woke up early when the Sphinx was uncovered. The sphinx was guarding his soul, and the sands of time washed away to reveal it, accelerated by the digging by the group in control who were seeking knowledge to stay in power (now having transitioned from fear to power & greed).

Our story begins with Doctor Onyx recounting the past and the stuff above as a narrator to those who first find him, and then going on a brief adventure with those who uncover him (brief….think…pre-assessment) to find his 2 swords which are one in Japan and one in Iran, and his shield (actually his phoenix, but in a frozen state until he brings the liquid amber from the room under the Sphinx’s paws that reawakens it) which is in the pineal gland in the middle of Vatican City. 

After they recover these, Doctor Onyx is called to SE Asia inside and can’t explain why, the new team gets there and meets the descendants of the leader who put him to sleep, but who had realized his mistake and tasked his followers to preserve the ancient knowledge for the future in Boroburdur (the land & civilization of Mu). However, halfway through, about 6500 years ago, Indonesia (we can fictionalize these places if that’s better in order to not conflict with actual history, but this symbolism is what I mean) was above the land (here’s Atlantis) but then the actual flood happened. 

The disaster hit, and they were isolated. In all of the chaos, they did not think they could retain the information. So they split it up and sent it to be preserved in Tibet, Egypt, Mexico, Peru, Illinois (check out “Cahokia” for why if you’re unfamiliar), Ireland, Kazakhstan, China, the Congo, Cambodia, Gibraltar, and Kurdistan, with the final element of the ancient knowledge (the “13th” again) traveling and never staying in one place - think Ark of the Covenant/great pyramid’s missing gold capstone. After leaving Boroburdur, they start traveling to these places, rediscovering the knowledge, and meeting great souls who manifest not only at these places, but also on the roads that lead to them (ley lines). 

They depart on the adventure to find all 12 (I’m thinking they go to wrong places, go to places that were “wrong” but were right because they learned, made a new friend, or whatnot), and then that’s where what I have ends at the moment.

The 13th is in Ethiopia, and little do they know, but it’s discovered that not only did the old leader put D.O. to sleep, he split his soul in two and put the other half into a half Persian half Japanese girl who is his twin flame and asleep within the Ark/13th component and the reason he carries the swords (but he doesnt know it) and she has power with no weapons (mind/spirit/life/etc.) becase while she is the only one who holds the last bit of knowledge,edge she also retains the knowledge of the other 12 passively (DNA, locked memory, etc).

She is technically the most powerful character, but doesn’t discover/use that ultimate power until the 13000th year transitioning from the dark age to the light occurs, and she actually is the one who sparks the new light, and D.O. gives over his swords as some kind of metaphorical kindling…..like I said, we get fuzzy here. She is supposed to be found very close to the last minute. Once they succeed through doomsday and have found wholeness, they have the task of making what’s new.
